What seems impossible
In the paradox, Achilles chases a tortoise. And every time Achilles reaches the tortoise's previous position, the tortoise always just has moved on. So Zeno asks, \textit{how can Achilles ever catch up?}
Comes down to perspective
Achilles winning the race was never impossible; the reasoning was. The obvious only required a new concept: the idea of convergent series.
Physiology is no different
Solving physiological questions with models has its limitations now. However, with the right approach we can extend our reach beyond what is currently possible.
The search for the next model
Our long-term goal is a mathematical model that describes human physiology in the most diverse conditions, ranging from extreme heat to severe blood loss. Of course, we won't get there in one leap. Each version needs to form the foundation for the next one. Just like Achilles, we will close the distance step by step.
Every step brings us closer. Enough steps, and we arrive.
